SolidWorld Group: shipped the Electrospider bioprinter to a prestigious Swiss hospital

Treviso, December 3, 2024– SolidWorld Group S.p.A., a company listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market (ticker S3D) and head of the Group leader in the sectors of industrial 3D design and printing technologies, 3D bio-manufacturing and latest generation machinery lines for photovoltaic panel production, announces the shipment of its Electrospider platform to one of the most prestigious hospital institutions in Lausanne, Switzerland. The platform will be used for oncology research and the development of complex human tissues intended for transplantation.

Electrospider, protected by a globally impactful patent, is the first multiscale, multimaterial 3D bioprinter. It is utilized not only in the biomedical and oncology fields but also in pharmacology and cosmetics for testing on replicated tissues, as well as in fashion for creating sustainable leather goods.
