Treviso, Naples, Perth, June 7, 2023. – SolidWorld GROUP, a leader in the field of technological innovation and advanced 3D design, is pleased to announce that it will collaborate with Marotta S.r.l. and Vection Technologies to the HEXA-FLY projectEuropean Space Agency (ESA) for the development of the first prototype of a European hypersonic aircraft intended for civilian transportation.

In particular, SolidWorld GROUP provides the 3D design software that will conduct the necessary simulations of the aircraft, with the aim of developing a revolutionary solution in the aviation sector.

The result obtained from the collaboration between SolidWorld GROUP, Marotta S.r.l., a company specialized in the production of components for the aerospace industry, and Vection Technologies, a leading company in 3D solutions, and VR, was made possible thanks to the ability to simulate within the metaverse the activities of subsystem integration, optimization of aircraft specialist ergonomics, significantly reducing integration equipment design costs, and minimizing error risks.

The comment from the chairperson of SolidWorld GROUP., Roberto Rizzo: “Hypersonic vehicles represent the future of long-range commercial transportation sector. Thanks to this synergy among leading companies in advanced technology sectors, even the European Space Agency is now experimenting with these aircraft for civilian transport, catching up with China and the United States, which have been ahead in this game so far. Italian excellence has played a fundamental role in creating the aircraft simulation system within the metaverse to speed up the entire prototyping and production process, which will make its first journey in a few years.“.
