SolidWorld GROUP: Due Di Greco unveils the future of additive manufacturing

Due Pi Greco launches its new industrial plan: innovation, additive manufacturing, and a new technology hub in Resana

Treviso, July 10, 2025SolidWorld Group S.p.A., listed on Euronext Growth Milan (ticker: S3D), is an Italian technology group, leader in the integration of advanced 3D digital solutions and artificial intelligence, for the industrial, biomedical and defense sectors, opens the doors of the new Due Pi Greco S.r.l. Technological Centre on the occasion of the Open House “Additive, il nuovo standard produttivo”.

Due Pi Greco is accelerating on the innovation front and officially launching a new industrial plan, marked by the acquisition of the Additive Manufacturing business unit from Tecnologia & Design. This operation reflects the Group’s commitment to strengthening its leadership in additive manufacturing by leveraging consolidated expertise, cutting-edge technologies, and a result-oriented operational approach.

Diego Pagnan, CEO of Due Pi Greco, emphasized the need to go beyond a purely technical narrative of Additive Manufacturing: “It’s time to consider these technologies as an integrated production standard capable of bringing efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness to business processes, in line with our industrial plan.”

The development plan presented during the Open House includes the following objectives:

  • Restructuring the organizational setup through the integration of Due Pi Greco into the SolidWorld Group;
  • Liquidating the previous corporate structure;
  • Acquiring new technologies and strengthening the CAD/CAM division, further enhancing the SolidWorks solutions already widely adopted by the technical department.

A tangible sign of this evolution is the upcoming installation, scheduled for September, of a new SLS system supplied by EOS: a complete 3D ecosystem, model P396, which will significantly enhance the Group’s production capacity and technological innovation. In addition to its speed and precision, the system also ensures sustainability through efficient powder reuse.

The plan also includes the full relocation of the Tecnologia & Design business unit’s production to the Resana facility, which will serve as the operational and symbolic heart of the ongoing transformation. Resources, equipment, and know-how will be consolidated here, ensuring full alignment with SolidWorld Group’s industrial vision, with Due Pi Greco acting as a strategic hub.

The vision is ambitious: to build an Italian Center of Technological Excellence in the field of digital and additive manufacturing, leveraging a vertically integrated supply chain, specialized in-house expertise, and strategic partnerships.

To validate the path undertaken, Due Pi Greco has already established key collaborations, including one with Antares Vision (Brescia) for the production of high- tech components, and has hosted outstanding companies such as Michelotto Engineering, the historic Padua-based coachbuilder chosen by Ferrari for the development of the carbon fiber prototype of the Isotta Fraschini, and of the models that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The new industrial direction of Due Pi Greco is therefore based on solid foundations and a clear vision: to turn innovation into a daily process and contribute to the growth of the Italian manufacturing sector towards increasingly sustainable, flexible, and advanced production standards.

Diego Pagnan, CEO of Due Pi Greco, added:“We are proud to welcome top-tier guests from the automotive and aerospace sectors to our Open House. Our goal is clear: to transform additive manufacturing from an emerging technology into the new production standard, communicating it through tangible demonstrations and consistent with our core values.”
