To reward innovative and technological ideas: that was the goal of Start Cup Tuscany 2022, the regional competition for the best entrepreneurial initiatives with a high technological content originating from the world of research.
The competition pitted the best business ideas born from Tuscan Universities against each other, with the award ceremony taking place on October 25th at the Santa Chiara Lab of the University of Siena.
And it was precisely Bio3DPrinting, a spin-off of the University of Pisa which, in collaboration with SolidWord Group, developedElectrospider, a 3D bioprinter that allows for the recreation of tissues compatible with humans, to win the top spot on the podium.
A nice recognition, a prize of 5,000 euros, and access to the national competition PNI “National Innovation Prize,” which will be held in L’Aquila in early December.
