Treviso, February 4th, 2025 – SolidWorld Group S.p.A., listed on Euronext Growth Milan (ticker: S3D), is an Italian technology group, leader in the integration of advanced 3D digital solutions and artificial intelligence, for the industrial, biomedical and defense sectors, announces the new workshop “2026 Innovations: 3D Design, CAD/CAM, Additive Manufacturing and Metrology”, dedicated to the key software and technological developments that will shape industrial design and production processes in 2026.
The initiative consists of a technical workshop offering a practical and in-depth overview of the solutions driving the transition towards the digital factory.
The workshop will take place on two separate dates, with the aim of facilitating participation by professionals and companies from different geographical areas:
- 11 February 2026 – Cinisello Balsamo (MI), Cosmo Hotel Palace
- 12 February 2026 – Bentivoglio (BO), SolidWorld headquarters
The event is targeted at CAD/CAM designers, R&D managers, production engineers and manufacturing professionals interested in gaining insights into next-generation solutions for the digital factory and the integration of design, additive manufacturing and metrology.
The workshop will focus on the latest developments in SOLIDWORKS 2026, including an in-depth review of newly introduced artificial intelligence–based functionalities supporting design activities. A dedicated session will also be devoted to SolidCAM 2026, with particular attention to new machining strategies and the optimisation of CAM processes in complex manufacturing environments.
The programme further includes sessions on Additive Manufacturing, analysing the industrial applications of 3D printing in functional prototyping and production contexts, as well as a Metrology Day, aimed at exploring 3D scanning, reverse engineering and quality control technologies, which are increasingly central to product validation processes and time-to-market reduction.
The event will feature technical presentations, application-driven demonstrations and direct discussion opportunities with SolidWorld specialists, complemented by dedicated demo areas enabling participants to experience the showcased solutions first-hand and assess their concrete impact on business processes.
Participation is free of charge, subject to registration. Both events will also offer the possibility to attend remotely, ensuring maximum accessibility to the content.
