Treviso, July 28, 2025 – SolidWorld Group S.p.A., listed on Euronext Growth Milan (ticker: S3D), is an Italian technology group, leader in the integration of advanced 3D digital solutions and artificial intelligence, for the industrial, biomedical and defense sectors, announces the release of its first Sustainability Report, covering the fiscal year 2024. Prepared on a voluntary basis in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), the document marks a crucial step in transparently reporting the Group’s social, environmental, and economic impacts, as well as the influence of ESG-related issues on corporate strategy and performance.
By adopting, from this very first edition, the parameters set out in the European Directive 2024/2464, SolidWorld Group underscores its commitment to playing a leading role in the transition towards a circular, digital, and sustainable economy.
The publication of the Report responds to the need for a clear and shared communication tool aimed at all stakeholders – customers, employees, partners, investors – to enhance SolidWorld Group’s tangible efforts in key areas such as energy efficiency, responsible technological innovation, people-centric culture, and robust governance.
The identification of material issues stems from an in-depth analysis of the main environmental, social, and governance aspects affecting SolidWorld Group’s business model. The result is a coherent framework of priorities and objectives which, although not yet structured into a formal sustainability plan, outlines an initial operational set of short and medium-term actions and goals. This approach enables the Group to progressively consolidate its ESG strategy, increasingly embedding it within its industrial plan and organizational culture.
The Governance disclosures reflect and foster a corporate culture based on integrity, collaboration, innovation, and social responsibility, aligned with the principles currently defined in the Energy Group’s Code of Ethics. These values guide the company’s operations and integration practices, with a strong emphasis on creating an ethical and responsible environment that is reflected in every aspect of its activities.
With regard to environmental disclosures, SolidWorld Group reaffirms its commitment to developing durable and efficient technologies, designed from the outset according to circular economy principles. Every new product is assessed across its entire lifecycle, including end-of-life and disposal phases. This vision translates into three core rules for the Group’s designers: reduce raw material consumption, enhance recyclability, and prioritize zero-mile localized production. It is a “digital factory” approach that combines modernity, performance, and environmental respect.
Innovation remains the cornerstone of SolidWorld Group’s strategic vision.
R&D activities, aimed at maintaining the competitiveness of proprietary software while simultaneously opening up new market applications, were focused in 2024 on strategic projects with high technological value. Highlights include the development of new modules within the Integr@ suite, implementation of MES technologies through integration between SolidWorks and SolidCam software, and expansion of Product Data Management (PDM) system functionalities. Noteworthy advances were also made in Add-In development for non-traditional sectors such as leather goods and apparel, aimed at bringing digital transformation to production chains historically excluded from advanced 3D design processes.
On a social perspective, SolidWorld Group stands out for its active commitment to inclusion, equity, and respect for the individual. In 2023, its subsidiary Energy Group Srl adopted a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (D&I) Policy following UNI PdR 125:2022 gender equality certification. This policy, grounded in fundamental principles of human rights, non-discrimination, and equal opportunity promotion, has since become a shared asset across all Group companies. Flexible organizational models and digital tools are in place to support work-life balance, including part-time options, remote working, parent-focused welfare measures, and mental and physical well-being support. These efforts are fully integrated into HR policies and corporate governance, reinforcing the Group’s mission to embed D&I values at all levels.
“We are committed to continuing our growth path with a strong focus on channeling resources toward building a solid, integrated Group capable of establishing itself as a market leader, while also effectively managing the most material ESG impacts for our business and stakeholders,” said Roberto Rizzo, CEO of SolidWorld Group. “The release of our first Sustainability Report is not only a milestone in transparency and accountability, but also an affirmation of our conscious industrial vision — one that harmonizes innovation and responsibility, growth and shared value.”
